It depends on how much you own, how far you are going, and how hard it is to get in and out. A studio moving within Ruiru is a very different job from a four-bedroom in Karen going to Kitengela. That is why we quote per move rather than publishing a flat rate — and why we survey anything larger than a one-bedroom before giving you a number.

The quote is free and the survey is free. There is no obligation to book, and nobody will keep ringing you afterwards. If you take another company, that is your call — we would rather you moved well than moved with us.

For anything larger than a one-bedroom, yes. We survey it in person or over a video call, because that is the only honest way to know how much there is and how hard it will be to get out. Studios, single items and small loads we can usually quote from a good description and a few photos.

We survey properly so that it does not. The price we quote is the price you pay. It only changes if what we find is materially different from what was described — twice the furniture, a piano nobody mentioned, or a lift that turns out to be broken. If that happens, we tell you before we start work, not after.

Payment terms are set out on your written quote before you agree to anything, so there are no surprises at the end. If you need an invoice for a company or a landlord, tell us when you book and we will prepare one.

A week is comfortable. End-of-month Saturdays are the busiest slots in Nairobi, so if you are moving then, give us as much notice as you can. That said, we do take short-notice moves — call and we will tell you honestly whether we have a crew free.

Our standard hours are Monday to Saturday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Office moves often need to happen outside those hours to avoid downtime, and we do arrange those — talk to us about the timing you need.

Often, yes. It comes down to whether a crew and a truck are free on the day you need. Call rather than email if you are in a hurry, and we will give you a straight answer instead of stringing you along.

Moves slip — keys are late, landlords change their minds. Tell us as soon as you know and we will do our best to move you to another slot. The cancellation terms that apply to your booking are set out on your written quote, so read that when it lands.

We agree a start time with you when you book and we turn up when we say we will. Nairobi traffic is the one thing we cannot control, so on long runs we start early — and if we are held up, you get a call, not silence.

Someone needs to be at both ends — you or somebody you trust. They hand over access, tell the crew which box goes in which room, and walk the inventory with us before we drive off and again when we finish.

Yes. Beds, wardrobes, dining tables and anything else that will not fit through a door in one piece. We take it apart, keep the fittings together, and put it back up in the right room at the other end.

We wrap and pad specifically so this does not happen, and we go through the inventory with you at both ends. If something does get damaged while in our hands, tell us straight away and we will make it right. Ask us about cover options when you book so you know exactly where you stand.

Yes. We do not carry cash, jewellery, documents such as passports and title deeds, hazardous goods like gas cylinders, petrol and paint thinners, or anything illegal. Keep the valuables and the paperwork with you. If you are unsure about an item, ask us before the day.

We do it all the time — a good part of Nairobi is walk-up apartments. Just tell us the floor and whether there is a lift when you ask for the quote, at both ends. Stairs take time and time is most of the price, so it needs to be in the number from the start.

Yes. We can drop off boxes, tape, bubble wrap and labels before the move so you can pack at your own pace, or our team can pack the whole house for you on the day. Most people take a middle path: we pack the kitchen and the fragile things, they handle the clothes.

We can. A full pack usually happens the day before the move so the loading is not rushed. Boxes are labelled by room, so unpacking at the other end is not a guessing game. See how our packing service works.

Wrapping is standard, not an add-on. Sofas, mattresses, screens and polished surfaces get covered before they leave the room. Furniture gets wrapped, not dragged — that is the whole difference between a careful move and a cheap one.

Yes, if you want us to. Say so when you book and we will collect them once you have unpacked, so you are not left with a wall of cardboard in the new place.

Yes. Single items are a normal job for us, not a favour — a wardrobe, a fridge, a piano, or the sofa that will not go through the door. Send us a photo and the two addresses and we will quote it.
